As a multilingual executive assistant and certified translator, working in English, Spanish and Dutch, with more than 15 years experience in the international corporate world and 5+ years as a freelance translator, in combination with my expertise in blog and website creation and maintenance, I can offer my skills and expertise to persons or small businesses that need or want to have a great blog or website.

ADF International was founded in November of 2005 (previously named: Your Own VA). Clients include solo entrepreneurs, small business owners and professionals who also do business internationally. Working in American, European and Latin American companies based in North and South America, gave Debbie invaluable insight in the cultures of international businesses. These companies were specialized in banking, consulting, software, research, financial services and manufacturing.

In 2001 Debbie started her own translation company (ADF Translations), providing a variety of quality language services in Spanish and Dutch.

Besides a diploma in secretarial services, Debbie has a university degree in Spanish as well as a translation certificate. Over the years she has attended many courses and seminars on the topics of blog and websites, business, computer software, time management, organization management and translations. Many of her skills are self-taught and she is committed to be a life-long learner, to keep up with the latest trends and techniques in the areas of her specialties.

Debbie gives back to the community through various volunteer activities, such as teaching beginner Spanish at her church, tutoring at-risk Latino students, maintaining nonprofit organization websites and coordinating meeting logistics.
